| Who Can Receive ECI Services? Prior
identification of a delay or a diagnosis is not necessary to make a referral.
Eligibility must be met by the following criteria:
- Delay in one or more areas of development.
- Atypical development.
- Extremely low birth weight qualifies a child for the Follow Along
program.
- Parent concern - parental concern, even in the absence of a diagnosed
delay or condition, warrants education and support.
- Medical diagnosis.
ECI of Richardson/North Dallas serves children and families who reside
within the Richardson Independent School District and part of Dallas Independent
School District. The western area extends from the Dallas County Line,
south along the Dallas North Tollway to Walnut Hill Lane, east to Central
Expressway. East of Central Expressway, the boundaries are those of RISD.

refer you to the ECI agency that serves your residence. |
