How
long will it take to get services after the referral is made?
ECI of Richardson/North Dallas: The maximum time allowed
is 45 days. Prior to enrollment, an intake visit, screenings for vision,
hearing, nutrition, and need for assistive technology, an evaluation,
and a planning meeting need to be completed. These steps allow for the
best possible treatment plan for your child and family to be developed.
Rollercoaster Kids: Enrollment is based on need and
services desired. Please discuss with the Director of Rollercoaster
Kids at time of referral.

move? Do I have to change services?
ECI of Richardson/North Dallas: Possibly. If you move
outside of our service area, we will assist with transition to the service
provider that serves that area. If the move is within 6 months of the
child’s 3rd birthday, and the distance is not greater than 10
miles from our service area, you may maintain your current services.
Rollercoaster Kids: Services may continue so long
as distance does not hamper participation.
