It's Never Too Early to Have Concerns
About a Child's Development
If you suspect a problem, contact The Warren Center at (972) 490-9055 or
call the central Dallas County referral line at (972) 503-1709.
Prior identification of a delay or a diagnosis is not necessary to make
a referral. Anyone can refer a child to The Warren Center. What
Happens After My Child Is Referred to ECI of Richardson/North
Dallas?
After your child has been referred, our team of skilled pediatric
professionals meets with the family and conducts an evaluation of the
baby or toddler to determine how we can help.
An Individualized Family Service Plan [IFSP] is developed with the family
to meet both the child and family's needs.
Our pediatric professionals then meet regularly with the child and family
to assist the child in meeting developmental goals. Our goal is to assist
families in helping their child meet developmental challenges. And, to
enhance the family's resources to meet special needs.
What Happens After My Child Is Referred to RCK?
After your child has been referred, the Program Director will
complete an intake interview with the parent to discuss concerns and needs.
An evaluation to address the identified needs will be completed and a
parent conference will follow the evaluation to discuss the results and
recommendations. Intervention will then begin at the parent's request.
